PAUL
CHARTIER
Creative entrepreneur
for over 30 years, Mr. Chartier has founded and led a number
of companies in the fields of entertainment and leisure, from
Clowns La Bebelle, Nouveaux Jeux et Rituels and Voyages Folie
Douce to SOS Labyrinthe, Fun Key Studios and now FELIX MUNDI.
His wide experience ranges from theatre and circus to play facilitation
and tourist services as well as from the creation of great adventure
games and megamazes to the production of interactive shows, attractions
and television series.
Author of
Jouer Pour Rire and the Book of the Games of the World, creator,
play facilitator, organizer, trainer, scriptwriter, speaker and
master of play, Mr. Chartier is a true “engineer of experiences”.
Born of a
Mexican mother and a French-Canadian father and raised as an
infant in the United States, Paul has always considered North
America as his playground and base of operations. Starting out
as the proto-typical class-clown, Paul pressed-on to become a
stage and street clown. His natural inclination to play with
his audience gradually led him to his life calling as play facilitator.
He then quit the stage to focus on sharing the very powers of
play that fuels him.
Over thirty years committed to empowering people with the gift of play now make Paul an internationally-recognized master of play as well as a top-notch consultant on creativity for organizations such as Cirque du Soleil and Intrawest.

LINE
GINGRAS
As a kid,
Line Gingras was the one organizing the games and the other kids
as well as providing activities for families and friends and
making sure that everybody had a good time.
So it came
as no surprise when she chose to devote her career to the entertainment
business. She is now an experienced tourist-leisure industry
manager with remarkable organizational and logistical expertise.
Her entrepreneurship
style is based on goal reaching and focuses on fast and, most
importantly, permanent problem resolution. Teamwork and employee
recognition/ empowerment are also part of her sound management-style.
Years of experience
in guest services and marketing have led her to develop a sixth
sense that always puts her in the client’s shoes.
Her partnership
with Paul Chartier started in 1993 when she became an organizing
consultant for SOS Labyrinthe. Her analytical mind and no-nonsense
attitude quickly made her indispensable to the organization:
she became General Manager a year later.
Since then,
she has worked with Paul on a number of projects, developing
along the way a winning combination of creativity and practicality.
